How to Have a Nice Day

So, as an appendage to my earlier blog post I've decided to just make an easier list. Rather than focusing on your already bad day, let's focus on how to START off with a GOOD day!!

So! Let's get started!! :)

1. Smile at Strangers.
"Keep smiling and one day life will get tired of trying to upset you." -Unknown
When someone is having a bad day something as simple as a smile can cheer anyone up! It really does work.

 
2. Slow Down.
"Slow down and enjoy life. It is not only the scenery you miss by going too fast...you also miss the sense of where you're going and why..." -Rishik Jain

When we're 5 we want to be 10, when we reach 10 we wish to be 16, when we reach 16 we wish to be 18, and when we reach 18 we wish to finish college already and have a job, be married, and have a family already, and once we reach that stage we wish to be 5 again. Too often we don't stop to realize that we should be enjoying these years, especially the teenage years. So just slow down, inhale and exhale and take it one step at a time.



 
3. Say Thank You.
THANK YOU!  

4. Give Lots of Compliments.
"The more beauty I see in others, the more I see in myself." -Unknown
 It's true. When we give other people genuine (that's the key) compliments we are able to feel better about ourselves too. Confidence is the foundation to EVERYTHING in life!
 
5. Dress Nicely.
"Beauty is ten. Nine of which is dressing." -Proverb
When you look good, you feel good! 

                                            
 
6. Wear Perfume.
"Happiness is a perfume you can't pour on others without spilling a little on yourself." -Unknown
SECRET TIP!!!!! It doesn't have to be literal perfume.  

7. Observe and Listen.
 "Listen wisely. Listen to others; listen to yourself, listen to the Universe." -Vadim Kotelnikov

Make sure you take the time to reflect on how certain situations are making you feel, and listen to yourself, not just others.


8. Be Charming.

9. Laugh.
They say you can burn calories, it extends your life, enhances your quality of life, and makes your day brighter and it's the best medicine for EVERYTHING!

 
10. Wish People a Lovely Day.
Your day will follow in accordance.
